Training and Placement
The mission of Training and Placement Cell is to train students to achieve maximum placement through dedication, attitude and complete involvement. The T&P cell holds the objective of acquainting the students of the Institute with Industries. The Placement cell organizes and extends services towards collaborative placement activities. The cell conducts training activities for the final year students mainly focusing on Career planning, Personality Development, Industry- Institute Interaction, off site training, Industrial visits Campus placements and Entrepreneurship Development. T&P Cell also provides Implant training for 3rd year students. Continuous interaction of the cell with the industries also helps in achieving the above goals & motivating students to contribute in this direction. This cell also helping students to improve their command on English language & Communication skills. To make them able to select in company we continuously take their aptitude tests. Tests.

- Aim to transform the students so as to meet the industry expectations in career building and in turn bring laurels to the parent institution.
Objectives:
- Organize campus recruitment drives for prefinal-year / final-year students with reputable companies.
- Facilitate companies in recruiting candidates according to their requirements. Raise awareness among students about various career options.
- Enhance students’ employability by providing training in aptitude and soft skills.
- Assist students in securing summer training and internship programs. Bridge the gap between industry and academia through: Seminars, guest lectures, conferences, corporate meets, and industrial visits.
- Coordination with various departments to impart industry-relevant skills.

What is the standard of your college in comparison with top colleges in the country?
RCPIOP, Shirpur has been established to impart education to rural students and develop them to be assets for the industry, which will eventually contribute to the growth of the nation. The R. C. Patel Institute of Pharmacy, Shirpur was established in 2019 with aim to spread Pharmacy education to deserving students and thereby render social services. This centrally located college has emerged as centre of academic excellence in the field of Pharmacy within a short span. The state of the art infrastructure, competent and professional staff members, which synergize to extend competitive advantage to students. More than 50% of the faculty holds a Ph.D. degree and have industry experience too. The college provides an open platform to the students to nurture and hone their academic skills, inculcate research trends and contribute to societal activities within their academic career.

- Mock Interviews:
Mock Interviews with Faculty experts and Alumni serve as a crucial tool in preparing students for real-world job opportunities by simulating actual interview scenarios. They help bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry expectations, allowing students to refine their communication, problem-solving, and technical skills. By providing a realistic interview experience, mock sessions build confidence, reduce anxiety, and familiarize students with different interview formats such as one-on-one, panel, and group discussions.
The placement policy provides clear guidelines to students on the entire process, from registering for participation in campus placements to attending placement drives and securing job offers.
- T&P Cell Registration:
The students who wish to participate in placement drives needs to register at the T&P cell before the specified deadline. No late entries will be entertained under any circumstances. The students with up to 5 active backlogs by the end of 5th Semester are allowed to register.
- Pre-Placement Training:
T&P cell provide necessary pre-placement training for all the registered candidates which includes technical training, hackathons, assessments through coding platforms, mock interviews and mentoring sessions by industry experts.
- Campus Recruitment Drives:
All the T&P cell registered students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment drives. Once a job notification is released, students who wish to participate in the drive are required to register for each drive.
The Training and Placement Cell manages communication between recruiters and students, starting from inviting companies for recruitment to supporting students throughout the placement process until job offers are finalized.
Invitation:
T&P Cell sends invitation to companies along with institute information. Companies interested in recruitment will notify to T&P Cell.
Registration:
The Training and Placement officer share job description and eligibility criteria to all the T&P registered students. Interested students will register for participation in recruitment and database will be communicated to the recruiters.
Pre-Placement Talk:
Companies interested in recruitment can conduct pre-placement talks either online or offline. Pre-Placement Talks provide a platform to facilitate interaction between students and companies, so that both are able to find the best match according to their aspirations and requirements.
Recruitment Process:
Firstly, companies can conduct assessments for screening candidates and shortlist the candidates for either Group Discussion rounds or Personal Interview rounds depending on the organization’s recruitment policy. We welcome all the recruiters to conduct the process in hybrid mode (In Person or online).
Job Offer:
Once the final interview round is conducted, the company makes a final offer to the candidate. The offer should include the details such as job role, compensation package and other terms and conditions required by the candidate to make further decision. Post receiving the provisional offer letter, the student accepts the same.
