Professionals in the pharmaceutical industry have direct access to the distribution of pharmaceuticals. Services include drug development, quality control testing, and lab regulation. Pharmacy studies focus on medication research, design, and development, as well as patient safety. The four core subjects are pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, and pharmacognosy.

Why Select a B. Pharm. Program?

  • Research: More in-depth studies

  • Government jobs: Food and Drug Inspector, Pharmacist

Businesses can obtain licenses from the relevant State Pharmacy Council to create a pharmaceutical industry as well as to work as chemists and druggists.

Eight semesters make up the four academic years required to earn a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy. Students with lateral entry finish six semesters in three academic years.
