R. C. Patel Institute of Pharmacy, Shirpur has established the RDC in order to promote Research and Innovation related activities. The cell works to achieve the following objectives.

Objectives:

• To encourage a culture of research among students and teachers.
• To raise the standard of institutional research via active publications and patents, both domestically and internationally.
• To encourage and support academic members in obtaining funds for research projects from different funding organizations, such as ICMR, DST, DBT, SERB, etc., as well as grants for consulting services.
• To promote industrial training for instructors and students.
• To provide instructors and students with up-to-date research resources for instruction and training.
• To form partnerships with domestic and foreign institutions on research-related projects.
• To evaluate and track faculty and student involvement in several national and worldwide research platforms.
• To collaborate with the institution’s innovation cell in order to improve institutional research results.
